Pasta Vita is hiring a talented Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving retail sales through exceptional customer service, including; cashiering, maintaining the store appearance, assisting all customers while working along-side the management team.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensures the guest experience meets all established standards and results in routine visits; ensures that customers are greeted, served, and responded to in a timely manner, including answering the phone in a timely and polite manner
Sells products while following all cash register procedures, including answering customers questions on products while politely offering suggestive selling
Maintains a general knowledge of products being sold
Ensures that the property is kept clean and well maintained at all times, and restocks the cash register area with supplies (paper bags, resister tapes, pens, staplers, scotch tape, etc)
Resolves and Refers all customer concerns to the manager.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Six (6) months of cashiering experience
Ability to handle difficult situations and individuals
Ability to multi task
Ability to read, interpret, and explain information to guests
Demonstrated organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Pasta Vita is Connecticuts leading Gourmet-to-Go retail business with it's roots centered in Old Saybrook. In 2015, the Mohegan Holding Company entered into agreement to open various locations throughout Connecticut. Since 2015, The Mohegan Holding Company has opened 5 locations, including our state-of-the art Commissary where all of Pasta Vitas 100 and counting freshly prepared entrees, salads, soups, sauces, breads, vegetarian options, desserts and our famous specialty-striped ravioli are made. The future is bright for Pasta Vita-the place to go, for "Gourmet to Go."
